Year 6 Home Learning

Week 14

Hello Year 6!

You will find below the 14th and final week of home learning. We can't believe where the time has gone and that your time with us is coming to an end. In order to support you with your transition to secondary school, many of the tasks for this week are based around this, along with some maths investigations for you to enjoy.

We are still planning to hold a virtual version of the leavers assembly for you next week. You will receive details regarding this in the upcoming days. In order to celebrate your time at Chalk Ridge, Mr Green is putting together a video montage of you all. If you have not yet done so we would like to ask if you could record a short clip of yourself - no longer than 10 seconds - and e-mail to the school. In this you could perform a jig, dance or simply smile and wave. It would be great to have everyone included in this. We are also working on a Year 6 'Wall of Fame' and would love everyone to contribute something to this. If you have not done so yet, please complete the home learning task from last week; every one of you deserve to be celebrated.

We look forward to seeing you at our leavers assembly, however if for any reason you will be unable to attend then do not hesitate in sending a message to your teachers.

You have all worked extremely hard this year and we all wish you the best of luck at your respective secondary schools. Try to make the most of having a well earned rest over the Summer holidays. We all look forward to seeing you again at our Year 6 Leavers 2020 reunion, which we hope will happen as soon as it is safe to meet. As always, keep positive and keep smiling.

Take care and stay safe.

Mr Green, Mr Lyddy, Mrs King, Mrs Floyd and Mrs Muir.

Home Learning Plans

If you have any questions about the tasks set or if the children would just like to say a hello to Mr Lyddy or Mr Green, then send an e-mail to the school email address at adminoffice@chalkridgepri.hants.sch.uk and they will pass it on.
