Ofsted and Performance Data

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, primary schools were instructed not to carry out national assessment tasks.  The last set of data (available here) based on national assessment tasks were carried out in 2019.

Early Years Foundation Stage (end of Reception Year)

86.7% reached a good level of development (GLD), compared with 77% in Hampshire and 71.8% Nationally.

Children are defined as having a GLD if they achieve at least the expected level in:

 

  • the early learning goals in the prime areas of learning (personal, social and emotional development; physical development; and communication and language) and;
  • the early learning goals in the specific areas of mathematics and literacy
