Internet and On Line Safety

At Chalk Ridge primary school, we are committed to providing up to date information and advice for how to stay safe online. As part of our Computing curriculum, children take part in e-safety lessons and are regularly encouraged to consider how to use the internet safely. Additionally, we take part in Safer Internet Day each year.

When thinking about how to stay safe and conduct ourselves online we always consider the following:

  • Be Sharp - think before you share
  • Be Alert - know the difference between what is real and what is fake
  • Be Secure - use a strong password to protect your information
  • Be Kind - respect each other and speak up against online bullying
  • Be Brave - report anything you see that makes you uncomfortable
